Melissa Burkhart

Melissa has had a passion for missions and ministry since childhood. At Liberty University she met her husband, Aaron while pursuing her degree in Women’s Ministry. Shortly after their marriage in 2015, Melissa and Aaron began their studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where they each received a Masters of Divinity. Through her counseling classes at the seminary, Melissa recognized the need for biblical counseling within the local church and around the world.

Melissa is first and foremost wife to Aaron and Mama to her precious sons, Matthew and Jamie. However, she is thankful for the opportunities she has to serve QBC by providing  biblical teaching, counseling, and vision to the women’s ministry. Melissa is passionate about seeing women grow in their love and understanding of God’s Word and is eager to help others understand how the Bible applies to their hearts and lives. In her free time, Melissa loves reading great books, spending time outside (especially hiking), singing, baking, traveling, and of course, all things British (movies, history, and literature!).
